In this challange, we will simulate flow through a NACA airfoil:-

We will simulate the flow of air over a NACA airfoil for different angle of attacks.

First of all we will import the NACA airfoil sample file to draw the geometry of the airfoil curve. now we will extrude the curve (length of the wing will be 1 metre i.e the extruded portion) 

Then we will use the flow simulation wizard to simualte the flow.We will select external flow checkbox for the simulation. then we will select air as our fluid for flow over the aerofoil. then we will input the velocity in x direction. we will input velocity as 600 m/s.

Then we will select 2D analysis for Computational domain and Selecting the Goals as Forces in x & y direction and Frictional forces in x & y direction. In surface goals, we will select forces in x and y direction. 

We will select the option 'Show basic mesh' and use 'manual mesh option' to increase the fineness of the mesh through the mesh.

Then we will Run the study. Finally input the obtained goals that is Forces in x and y direction

Extruded length - 1 metre

Incident Velocity - 600m/s
